FDV

Fully diluted valuation. The total market cap if all the tokens are in circulation. This value may change over time as new tokens are created or burned.

FIB retracement

FIB retracement is short for Fibonacci retracement. Fibonacci is a mathematical term that represents a sequence of numbers where each number is the sum of the two preceding numbers. Fibonacci retracement is a method for determining support and resistance levels.

FVG

FVG stands for fair value gap. It is used as a tool to detect inefficiencies or imbalances in market prices. It is a tool used by price action traders to help develop trading strategies. The theory is that the current price should trend back and fill the imbalances.

HTF

HTF stands for high time frame. Longer term investors or swing traders will work with HTF charts.

LTF

LTF stands for low time frame. Scalp traders will work with LTF charts.

OHLC

Acronym for open, high, low, close. A type of bar chart that represents the price when the market opened, the highest and lowest price reached that particular day, and thte price when the markett closed.

PA

PA is short for price action. It is a method to generate trade entry and exit signals based on price movement.

Spot trade

Buying tokens or assets at the current market price. Delivery and payment occur almost at the same point in time.

Swing trade

A trade that will take place over a short amount of time (usually days or weeks).
